Lord, You are the author of all that is good in my life.
Your joy, love, and hope sustain me.
You bless me with everyday moments that I can choose to notice or choose to ignore.
You give me a life I can live in either gratitude or bitterness.
Lord, I ask You to prepare the soil of my heart.
Make it a well-watered garden where withering will not be the story of my life (Jer 31:12).
When I face the difficult, open my eyes to see Your faithfulness.
When I am weary, let me not miss the blessings still surrounding me.
When my heart is broken by another, cast my eyes upon Your unfailing love,
reminding me that You alone are able to make me whole.
Raise up in my heart a battle cry of gratitude in the face of every difficult circumstance I face.
Squelch my pride, jealousy, and selfishness so that it never overshadows my ability to encourage others(l Thess 5:11)
and live in gratitude for You (Is 3:14-16). And may my heart trust in You knowing I am helped;
and may I forever exult You and give thanks in all things to You (Ps 28: 7)
