Heavenly Father,
I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my grandkids. Keep evil far from them, and help them to trust You as their refuge and strength. I pray You will guard their minds from harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize truth.
I pray You will make them strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day.
Help them to find rest in Your shadow, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them. Let them know that the only safe place is in Jesus, and that their home on earth is only temporary.
Thank you for my beautiful family. It worries me that I cannot protect them from all of the evil in this world.
I am on my knees asking for your help. Please watch over my family today when they step out of the front door.
Send an angel to guide them home safely and avoid any harm they may face.
Jesus, You are our fortress, this home has walls of love that are built on you. You are our sanctuary, our family rests in the grace laid out in your words of truth.
You are our treasure, we hold one another in the faith, hope, and joy that you sent. You are our leader, we kneel at your feet and find protection, goodness, and rest.
As I settle down for the night I ask and pray that I would soon fall asleep, but first I want to hand all my cares and worries over to You, for You have promised to carry our burdens if we will simply lay them down at Your feet.
I also want to lift up to You all those that mean so much to me, my family and friends, neighbors and other acquaintances, and ask Your blessing on each one – and I ask that You would wake me in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your bidding and may I be blessed with one more day to live for Jesus.
Lord thank You that You are coming back soon and I pray that I may be ready for Your any day return to take us to be with Yourself in heaven – but in the meantime may I occupy until You come to Your praise and glory,
