A Goodnight prayer before you sleep

Dear Heavenly Father,

As I prepare to sleep tonight, I thank You for the gift of rest and the chance to connect with You. Your Word reminds me in Psalm 3:5 that You sustain me through the night, and I trust in Your unfailing care. You are the lifter of my soul, and I bless Your holy name with all my heart. Thank You for Your countless benefits, as proclaimed in Psalm 103:1-2.

Lord,
Sleep is a reminder of how much I depend on You. As I drift off, I release all control and place my trust in Your hands. I need You to sustain me, protect me, and guide me through the night and throughout my life. I trust You with the big and small, the joyful and challenging moments. You are my hope and my help, my refuge and my strength.

Please surround my family and me with Your protection tonight. Shield us from any harm or schemes of the enemy. Keep our bodies healthy, our minds peaceful, and our spirits at rest. Let us wake up in the morning refreshed, energized, and ready for the day You have prepared for us.

Father,
Grant me the grace of restful sleep and renewed strength. Thank You for bringing me into a relationship with You. It fills me with joy to know that I am Your child, and You delight in me. Through Jesus, my sins are forgiven, and I am free to call You my loving Father.

Uplift my spirit tonight, Lord. Fill my heart with peace, joy, and hope. You are magnificent and wonderful, always present and faithful. I trust that You will guide me to victory over any challenges I face. Worry fades when faith takes its place, and I know You will never leave or forsake me.

Dear Lord,
Continue to speak to my heart daily, showing me the perfect peace only You can provide. Guard my mind and actions, protecting me from the enemy’s schemes. Grant me wisdom to face my circumstances and light my path through any darkness.

I thank You for Your love, Your grace, and Your steadfast care. As I close my eyes tonight, I rest in the assurance of Your presence and Your promises.

In Jesus’ holy name, I pray.
Amen.
